This Proposal Writer/Content Librarian will play a crucial role in driving growth by crafting compelling, high-quality proposal content that showcases Tyler’s solutions and expertise. This individual will be a key member of the team and will work closely with numerous departments in the development of proposal content. The Proposal Writer role is one of a select few roles with a unique opportunity to position the value of Tyler’s solutions in our public sector market.

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, deadline-driven writer who understands the public sector landscape, knows how to convey complex technical information effectively, and can identify unique value propositions that resonate with our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Craft compelling proposal narratives that synthesize both existing content and new inputs from SMEs, in alignment with strategic proposal objectives
  • Collaborate with product teams and subject matter experts (SMEs) and Marketing to understand Tyler’s solutions deeply, translating complex information into easy-to-understand, benefits-focused language.
  • Generate, organize, and maintain a comprehensive library of boilerplate content, narrative responses, and templates that reflect Tyler’s services, capabilities, and differentiators to ensure quick, high-quality responses.
    • Ensure that the content within Qvidian is well-organized, current, and compliant.
    • Populate Qvidian content library with approved and accurate questions and responses
  • Conduct research and competitive analysis as needed to tailor proposal responses for maximum impact, bringing insights into how Tyler’s offerings stand out in the public sector market.
  • Support continuous improvement in proposal processes and content development to enhance response quality and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborates with the team to drive consistency across boilerplate proposal content, helping to ensure high quality RFP responses.

Qualifications

  • BS/BA in related field or comparable business experience
  • Professional experience in proposal content writing role
  • Experience with Qvidian or other proposal content management systems
  • Strong professional and persuasive written/verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment (both independently and as a team player)
  • Strong attention to detail and follow up
  • Excellent organization and the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, in addition to Adobe
